Richard W. Paige

Rick Paige is CEO of Meridian Health Services and Community Programs, Inc., both comprehensive addiction treatment programs in Oakland County.

Paige has served as a Board Member for Meridian Health Services and Community Programs, Inc. for 15 years and has extensive knowledge of the challenges of providing effective treatment to those affected by substance use and related behavioral health disorders. As a Board Member, he was responsible for developing a strategic plan to effectively serve the growing number of individuals who require treatment as a result of Michigan’s expansion of Medicaid and the rising opioid epidemic. In 2013, he began serving as CEO and has implemented the program’s plan to expand services from focusing on individuals involved in the criminal justice system to include treatment for individuals in the healthcare system. Since taking over as CEO, Meridian Health Services and Community Programs, Inc. have significantly expanded their residential, withdrawal management and outpatient treatment programs, currently providing treatment services to over 6,000 individuals annually.

Prior to serving as CEO, Paige was a practicing attorney, concentrating in business law for more than 20 years. He is a member of the Healthcare and Corrections Sections of State Bar of Michigan. Paige received his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame.
